Liliana & Dan | Wedding

Updated: Sep 13, 2019

Liana and Dan had a lovely wedding at Saint Anne’s Church in Detroit, MI. The Church was stunning; with soaring ceilings, breathtaking stained glass windows, and a 100 ft aisle for the bride to walk down. Liana had a cathedral length veil that displayed beautifully as she walked down that aisle! The ceremony was especially unique as it was a bilingual mass. Parts of the ceremony and mass were done in Spanish to include Liana's Mexican heritage. I have never prayed the “Our Father” in Spanish before, but it was so meaningful for the couple and I loved that.

We had the opportunity to explore various sites downtown for photos before the reception. My favorite spot for shooting that day was at the Detroit Institute of Arts. It’s brilliant white marble steps gave a gorgeous backdrop to photograph the newlyweds and they are some of my favorite photos of the day.

It was such an honor to capture Liana and Dan's wedding and I could not be happier for them. Once again, Congratulations to the newlyweds!
