Hello
My name is Kelly Cieslak, thanks for checking out my page! I’m originally from Brighton, Michigan; a town about 45 minutes outside of Detroit. If I’m not spending my time making sure my dog, Sadie, is living her best life, then I am living for the weekends. In addition to doing professional shoots, I like taking the time to travel with my camera to a place I have never been before to explore and photograph new landscapes. This isn’t limited to Michigan either; I’ve traveled to California, Nevada and Utah for photography as well. Traveling is one of my favorite things to do and if I can combine travel with my photography its my dream come true.
I graduated from Concordia University in 2013 majoring in Art with an emphasis in photography and I minored in business. College was one of the best experiences of my life; it was awesome to be surrounded by so many creative people, both in classes and on campus, who were just as passionate about their art. I really enjoyed my time and learned so much at Concordia; I even go back on occasion to photograph various athletes and teams throughout the year.
Finally, I absolutely believe in love and also believe the world needs more love in it. Every time you hire KBK I take a percentage of my profit each month and donate to Gleaners Food Bank in Livingston County. I usually donate cheese and butter specifically as they are things that don't get donated very often since they need refrigeration. It's just my way of giving back to my community and spreading the love (and I love butter and cheese!).
