February ended up being filled with every kind of session. From weddings to one-year birthday celebrations, engagement sessions, and newborn photos, it was a little bit of everything. The weather was definitely on the colder side, but I’ll take a busy February any time. There’s something special about getting to capture so many different seasons of life all in one month. Even in the middle of winter, there were so many beautiful moments worth documenting.
Newborn Lifestyle Session with Sam, Matt, and Baby Luke
I always love when dear friends trust me to photograph their families. Sam and Matt are truly wonderful people, and it’s been such an honor to capture their story from their wedding in Colorado to now welcoming their sweet boy, Luke. As much as I love little Luke, I’ll admit Luna always steals a bit of my attention too. Seeing Luke and Luna together is just the sweetest, and I have a feeling they’re going to grow up as the very best of friends.
Liz & Justice’s Wedding | Plymouth Winter Wedding Photos
Liz is such a special human being, and her and Justice wedding was beautiful from beginning to end. They had a stunning church ceremony, followed by portraits at the Plymouth Library, which I now highly recommend as a location for winter sessions. We even snuck in a quick session at Studio Neue that gave their photos such a timeless feel. By the end of the night, everyone was ready to celebrate and hit the dance floor. It was such a joyful day to capture.
Wells Turns One | Birthday Party at Work and Wonder in Milford
My dear friends Rachael and JD hosted the cutest first birthday party for little Wells at Work and Wonder in Milford. It was so fun to see so many familiar faces and catch up with everyone while celebrating such a special milestone. The whole brunch theme was absolutely perfect, and I’m officially here for more brunch parties like this.
Janet & Brian’s Romantic Detroit Engagement Session
To wrap up the month, I had a sweet and timeless session with Janet and Brian. Even though the Christmas lights were still up, the hustle and bustle of Detroit had slowed down, making the whole evening feel incredibly romantic. It was the perfect setting to capture such a special season in their lives.
March is already shaping up to be such a fun month and I can’t wait to share everything. If you want a little sneak peek of what’s coming, head over to my Instagram. It already feels magical over there. I’ll have the opportunity to photograph at The Collins at the Clocktower with Blue Skies Wedding Rentals, and this weekend I have both a family session and a wedding. I’m especially excited because I’ll also get to reconnect with some of my past brides this month, which is always the best part.
My next availability is the week after Easter, so if you’ve been thinking about booking a session, I’d love to hear from you
